Capturing Lightning

For the second year in a row, we had a strong thunderstorm roll through on the evening of July 27th, and for the second year in a row, I risked a potential darwin award to photograph the fireworks. Check out my Flickr page for more of my photography.

This map update includes the latest on the trailbuilding projects, as well as some helpful area labels.
The green bridge connector trail in Middle Run is 95% complete, but unfortunately, that final 5% requires building two bridges, and one is going to be quite large since it will span the rocky ravine.

Raspberries!

In case you haven’t noticed, it looks like some of the wild raspberries in northern Delaware have ripened a couple of weeks early this year. I came across many ripe berries while hiking today, and it looks like a lot more will be at peak by next weekend.
